Salzburg's qualifying route

Salzburg beat Pafos 4–3 on aggregate, following a 1–0 home win and a 3–3 away draw. The Mjällby play-off was settled without conceding: 1–0 away and 3–0 at home, for 4–0 overall.

Milan, Ararat, Sparta and Palace visit Salzburg

The January finale is at home

Milan visit on 15 October, Ararat-Armenia on 26 November, Sparta Prague on 10 December and Crystal Palace on 28 January. The club's official fixtures page identifies Red Bull Arena Salzburg for its European home programme.

The away dates are Levski Sofia on 17 September, Celje on 22 October, Anderlecht on 5 November and Leverkusen on 21 January. That final trip comes a week before Palace's visit, so the last two rounds split between Germany and Austria.

Salzburg's Pafos trip was to Alphamega Stadium

Salzburg's official calendar places the 13 August away return against Pafos at Alphamega Stadium. That is the match-specific venue for the 3–3 draw, and is more useful to a travelling supporter than simply looking up Pafos's usual club ground.

The next away qualifier was Mjällby at Strandvallen, followed by the home return in Salzburg. Those two summer venues belong to separate ties: the six-goal Pafos draw preserved a narrow aggregate lead, while the Mjällby matches ended with two Salzburg clean sheets.
