Juventus start and finish at home

Juventus host NEC on 17 September and Real Sociedad on 28 January. The club's official calendar announcement confirms that the league programme opens and closes in Turin.

The other home opponents are Rennes on 22 October and Omonia on 26 November. These are four separate home games against four different clubs, not one side of a set of return ties. There is no automatic away meeting with NEC or Real Sociedad in this league phase.

New meetings with AZ, NEC and Hapoel

Juventus's opponent guide identifies AZ, NEC and Hapoel Beer-Sheva as first-time European opponents. Those fixtures add new club pairings to the schedule rather than reviving an earlier Juventus European tie.

Rennes are a different case: the clubs met in the 1999 Intertoto Cup. That earlier encounter belongs to another competition, while this season's Rennes fixture is part of the Europa League league phase. The distinction is useful when checking head-to-head records alongside the current dates.
