Hammarby's two-leg meeting with Anderlecht
Hammarby drew 1–1 at home on 23 July and lost 3–1 away on 30 July. The Swedish Football Association lists both results on its Europa League page. Anderlecht advanced 4–2 on aggregate.
Adjei's late equaliser kept the first leg level
Hammarby rescued a 1–1 first-leg draw through Adjei's late goal. Anderlecht had been reduced to ten men after Saliba received a second yellow card, and Hammarby took the opportunity to remove the deficit before the return.
The level opening score left the tie undecided, but Anderlecht won the second match 3–1. Hammarby's late response therefore remains a significant moment from the first evening, even though the eventual aggregate score was 4–2 against them.
