Four first-half goals overturned the Rovers tie
Egnatia answered the 3–1 first-leg defeat with four goals before half-time at home. Ndreca's second yellow card left them with ten players before the interval, but the comeback continued after the break: Albanese scored a fifth before the hour and Burke later replied for Rovers.
The 5–1 return was settled in normal time, giving Egnatia a 6–4 aggregate win. Extra time belongs to the subsequent Lillestrøm tie below, not this comeback against the Irish side.
