Dynamo's disallowed goals before the Cluj shootout

The 0–0 return in Cluj contained several Dynamo threats that the final score alone does not show. Redushko's finish was ruled out after a VAR offside check in the build-up, Voloshyn also had a goal disallowed for offside, and Ponomarenko headed against the bar.

Neither side scored a valid goal across the two legs. Dynamo then won the shootout 4–2 to advance, before meeting PAOK in the next round. The disallowed efforts remain part of the match story, but do not belong in the goals-for total.

The next round had a different outcome

PAOK won the first leg 3–2 on 23 July and the return 2–0 on 30 July, taking the tie 5–2 on aggregate. Dynamo's two matches from that round are defeats, unlike the drawn Cluj tie settled by penalties.

Dynamo's official calendar subsequently labels August European games as Conference League fixtures. They are outside this Europa League page. The distinction is helpful when a club calendar displays domestic football and multiple UEFA competitions in one long list.

From previous knockouts to 2026 qualifying

Dynamo reached the Europa League quarter-finals in 2014/15 and the round of 16 in 2020/21. UEFA lists their 2024/25 campaign in the league phase and 2026/27 at second-qualifying-round level.
