Celta's first home date is Juventus

Celta open away to Omonia on 16 September before hosting Juventus on 15 October. Radio Vigo's calendar coverage identifies Balaídos for the Juventus visit. A week later, Celta travel to Celtic, so the two October fixtures offer very different matchnight plans for home supporters.

November at home, December away

Two consecutive European visitors

Union Saint-Gilloise visit on 5 November and Bournemouth follow on 26 November. Celta then travel to Marseille on 10 December. Radio Vigo highlights the Vélodrome trip among the away dates, alongside the earlier visit to Celtic Park.

January brings Hapoel Beer-Sheva away on the 21st and Lillestr?m at home on the 28th, ending Celta's league phase with a Vigo home night.

A second consecutive European season for Celta

Celta's draw announcement describes 2026/27 as a second consecutive season in Europe. The team returns after reaching the 2025/26 Europa League quarter-finals, rather than coming back from a long absence.

The deeper historical reference is the 2016/17 semi-final campaign. Those are two different achievements to keep in mind while following this year's league phase: a recent quarter-final and an earlier run to the last four. Juventus open the home programme, while Lillestrøm are the final home opponents on the current schedule.
